Earnest Pugh’s latest CD Earnest Pugh Live: “Rain On Us” is still in great demand eight months after its July 28, 2009 release where it debuted #2 on Billboard (Top Gospel Charts). Pugh says, “I am grateful to God that this CD is yet resonating in the hearts and minds of God’s people. It amazes me how phone calls, emails, twitter and facebook messages are still coming in, on a daily basis, as though the CD just came out last week. The most rewarding feeling to me is knowing that we heard God clearly with regard to the direction of this project. This makes it worth it all to me.” Not only is Pugh’s #1 smash hit single “Rain On Us” the 2nd most played song in the country, he also re-entered Billboard’s Top Gospel Charts at #9 this week. According to Kerry Douglas (CEO of Black Smoke Music Worldwide), “Pugh’s apparent surge in sales is consistent with him riding high on the radio charts for the last several months. None of this takes me by surprise because Pugh is an incredible vocalist and a very sharp executive in this industry. It’s his time, and the key element in his success is his passion and tenacity which will keep him on top of his game for years to come.” Pugh’s single “Rain On Us” rose to the top spot at radio four weeks ago according to BDS/Billboard Reports.
